Ho Chi Minh City - July 1, 2025 - For the first time in Vietnam, a green B2B e-commerce platform - EcoHub - has officially launched, marking a significant milestone in the journey toward building a sustainable green trade ecosystem. The platform aims to help businesses grow sustainably and align with global standards. The launch event was held as part of the 2025 Green Trade Forum, jointly organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong (SGGP) Newspaper, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and Arobid Technology JSC. The event attracted widespread interest from experts and enterprises both domestically and internationally.
The event was attended by Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Tang Huu Phong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the HCMC Party Committee; along with representatives from international organizations and companies.

EcoHub - available at ecohub.arobid.com - was developed with the goal of supporting businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in transitioning comprehensively to green practices. The platform enables carbon emissions tracking and transparency, connects enterprises with green technology partners, and facilitates access to export markets with strict environmental regulations such as the EU, USA, and Japan.
Speaking at the forum, Vice Minister Phan Thi Thang praised the initiative and stated:
"The establishment of a green B2B trading platform opens up opportunities for the business community to integrate into global supply chains with low carbon emissions, contributing to the realization of the national green growth objectives."
More than just a typical e-commerce platform, EcoHub is designed as a modern green-digital trade infrastructure, structured around seven core sectors: energy, transportation, finance, consumer goods, materials, services, and digital technology. It enables product traceability, ESG compliance, and the expansion of partnerships within the global green value chain.
As part of the forum, the organizers also introduced the EcoHub XPO 3D Digital Exhibition themed “No-Carbon City” - a model of a future city integrating green technology and sustainable development solutions. This virtual showcase serves as a symbolic representation of the twin transformation - digitalization and greening - aligning with Vietnam's Net Zero 2050 national commitment.

In his opening speech, journalist Nguyen Khac Van, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP, emphasized:
“We take pride in being a media agency that proactively builds infrastructure to support businesses and promote green trade through concrete and consistent actions over nearly two decades.”
EcoHub has already attracted hundreds of registered businesses, including major names such as Saigon Co.op, SCG, Binh Minh Plastics, OPC Pharmaceuticals, as well as various manufacturers, tech companies, and distributors from Vietnam and abroad. The platform is expected to become the largest digital hub for green business connections in Vietnam in the near future.
